Hello Everyone,

I want to surface mesh a car geometry, I used ICEM and created surface mesh but the mesh quality is considerably poor since there are faults in the CAD model itself. Later, I switched to DesignModeler with a hope to fix the CAD model.

I tried using all the repair options available in the Tools>Repair (like repair hard edges, seams, holes, spikes, etc.). When I fault checked it using fault detection in Tools>Analysis tools> Fault Detection. I have a whole bunch of faults which can be categorised mainly into Invalid geometry, Self-Intersection and Tolerance Mismatch.

I would appreciate some help on the topic. This is an important part of my internship.

Thank you in advance, responses are much awaited and appreciated.
