Hello everyone, I am currently using student version of ANSYS 16.0. I want to perform a 3d simulation of a helicopter airframe (without rotor) which is kept inside a rectangular domain (enclosure).
The mesh of the model got generated successfully but I am not able to export it to Fluent. It says the error "This is an educational executable, and can only be used with cases containing less than 512,000 cells." My model's nodes are 871,000. Is there a way to reduce cell count without removing any parts from the geometry? I have kept mesh as coarse.. Please help ! |

In the 'Details of "Mesh"' part, try changing values for 'Min Size', 'Max Face Size', 'Max Tet size' etc. You can notice how the mesh size is changing and figure out appropriate values for your case.
