Parameter lost after undo sketching

Hello,
The problem is of low importance, however it is such an annoying one so that I have decided to look for a solution here. It is about disappearing parameters while working with DM. I am used to prepare my workspace a priori to sketching, so that I prepare all the parameters within DM which I expect to use later. Some parameters are calculated then based on others within WB and later on are actualized back in DM. Then I start to sketching. However it appears, that when I assign a parameter and subsequently undo sketching, then the parameter disappears. This makes WB unable to calculate other parameters basing on disappeared one. As you might expect, undoing "undo" does not bring back the lost parameter. I wonder if someone has faced similar problem and what had done.
