Hello,
If anybody reads it maybe it is better to look at the picture first So, I am wondering if it is possible to make multizone meshing behave a little bit more like sweep meshing - I would like to have more control on resolution on Face A (see pic). What you can see is a part of an assembly i am meshing, I would basically like to create a sweep mesh in a part of a body A that is exactly the same as body B (half of a ring), but body A have some edges inprinted due to this cylindrycal part at the top, so I figured I will use multizone method. I used faces from body B as sources for multizone method at body A (not sure if that's correct - manual says source faces for multizone should be understood as target faces which is confusing for me). I tried two things - using sweep edges (red ones on top left pic) or Sweep element size method but none of them did what i wanted which is basically being able to generate exactly the same mesh like in body B. Should I create some edges on Face A to do that, do you have any suggestions? Thanks |
