Hi everybody!
I need a help to create boundary conditions on ICEM in my mesh. Actually, i am trying import my mesh to openFOAM, so, before i have to set a boundary, i guess. Please, i am new in CFD analysis and your help would be precious, p.s: i am working with 2-D pipe junction tutorial. (how to create mesh in ICEM and import to openFOAM). |

Hi Matheus,
You just need to specify the BC in the output mesh tab. For OpenFoam mesh you should select the Fluent output solver (first tab > solver output). Once you’ve selected the solver you move on with the second icon “Boundary Conditions”. On the pop-up window you can specify various BC. In your case as you’re in 2D you should have only “edges” type BC. Once the BC done, regenerate the mesh and then export it to .msh (fluent mesh type). Then use the mshToFoam and you’re done |
