I have a machine with 18 core processor, when I specify number of CPU cores in the ansys mesher to be 16 and start meshing, It doesn't really appear that the mesher is utilizing the CPUs, it showes only 4% cpu utilisation in the windows task manager, i am using ansys work bench 16.2
Any ideas how to turn this on ? Thanks, |

in the options you can select it but it wont take unless your geometry is complex and demands for more cores to work on!
