I have a simple geometry in 2D. I did blocking and mesh extrusion (with 1 cell in normal direction) and everything is fine. Now when I want to create parts for boundary like inlet, outlet and wall; I am not able to do.

What I tried is 'create new part' and then selected the curve in 2D for inlet. But that part is not converting to face. I did mesh extrusion after creating the part as well and this is also not working. Can someone please help me on this.

This looks basic but I am not able to figure it out.

Thanks in advance.
