Hi,
I am a beginner in CFD so forgive me if I sound naive. I am working on 2D simulation of Savonious VAWT CFD simulation using fluent. However I am having some problems with the mesh tool. I have inflated the boundary of my blade but after I do that, the software doesn't refine the mesh and gives error that refinement would give bad element shape. The element count and structure is very rough. How should I refine the mesh? Should I let go of inflation all together (from what I understand its necessary for defining boundary layers)? What are the other ways I can refine the mesh? what about gambit? Should I use that? Thanks in advance for any help |
