Hello, I am modelling a turbine and I am trying to create the boundary layer around the blade. First, I tried using Hexa but it is getting more complicated than expected. I did the blocking and the mesh, but I still get high skewness in the the trailing edge.

Now, I am using tets to do it. I created a baffle surface at the trailing edge, but when I add the prisms using the bottom up approach I only get prisms on one side of the surface, even when I click the internal wall option in the parts parametersAnd one of the surfaces from the blade makes the prism in the 'empty' area of the blade, even when the normal of the surface is on the right direction. There are also some spots where the prisms are not generated.

When I do it on using the octree method clicking on creating the prism layers, the trailing edge doesn't get prisms and the surface looks like it has holes.

I have attached pictures of the problem using the bottom up method, where the orange and yellow mesh are surface mesh, and the pink mesh is the prism layer. The pictures show 1/3 of the turbine because I am doing a periodic mesh

Please tell me how I can fix this.

Thanks!

Back of the turbine, no prims in this side of the baffle surface and in a piece of the blade.jpg
