Trying to perform basic analysis on a wing body downloaded from the NASA CRM website (http://commonresearchmodel.larc.nasa.gov/iges-files/). (stp files also available)
When opened using designmodeler, a gap appears between the wing and fuselage which leads to a boolean creation error-operation would result in non-manifold bodies. However when the same file is opened in CATIA V5, the gap is not visible and it appears as one single body. Could use some help understanding this or a workabout. |
