Hi,
I would like to create good mesh for wind turbine rotor. Im using student license so, i can not generate more than 512k nodes. On images im presenting my geometry, mesh settings and what i have achieved. I can not fix it to get continuous mesh on the traling edge of blade. |

Hi Maciek,
this is no answer to your problem. Have you thought of doing only a "third"-slice of your domain? You could later add three parts to your solver to have the full domain again. That way you could increase the 500k limit to virtual 1.5M and have more room to play with the mesh settings. with regards, Sebastian |

Yes, i have thought about it, but still this holes appears in the mesh, and i can not get rid of them.
And i also have another problem, that when i set mesh parameter for traling edge to be small, i supose shell mesh is not generated because there is no mesh on blade surface, only volume mesh around the blade. Last edited by goral04; May 25, 2016 at 06:44. |
