hello,
I imported a mesh with 5 solids into ICEM and thought I can turn them into 1 part. Importing it back to CFX its still 5 parts, but no interfaces. So it would not solve it. How is it done? Meshmerge? Cheers, Steffen |

did you create conformal mesh?? Use build topology option to filter duplicate entities...

its several sweep meshes and the sizing is so, that the touching face mesh on each interface would match. I.e. its in 5mm long pieces and if you look from the front, they are identical.
you mean this, page 32? https://caeai.com/sites/default/file...shing_CAEA.pdf edit 1 does not work, isolated regions or if I switch off checking for isolated regions, the server fails edit 2 if Idelete both connection surfices between each block, I can merge both surface and volume mesh and then it works Last edited by Steffen595; May 21, 2016 at 08:47. |
