Hello all,
I would really appreciate if you could help me out with this one. I created my geometry in Freecad (I have no access to other CAD-programs). I attached two pictures where you can see the geometry. As you can see in the images, the geometry is quite simple. Nevertheless I am having issues with meshing: I would like to define the radial number of divisions of the geometry. Axially, no problem (sweep/edge sizing). I thought that I maybe could use "mapped face meshing" and define the number of divisions there, but I cannot used mapped face meshing on the base face. Why?! Then I thought I could add an edge to the imported geometry and then do edge size meshing, but I havenīt figured out yet how to add "dummy" edges in order to do so. Once again, I would REALLY appreciate if someone could help me out. Thanks in advance! |
