Hi,
I was doing a simple 2D structural analysis, but when trying to combine APDL command (symmetry), it didn't work. Also, when using commands for applying BC on lines, it didn't work. This how i first make it: DL,Line_Symm_x,,symm DL,Line_Symm_y,,symm SFL,Press_line,10 These commands didn't work, so instead i used these commands D,Line_Symm_x,ux,0 D,Line_Symm_y,uy,0 SF,Press_line,10 Could someone explain to me why there is a difference in the commands, and why can't i use Symmetry command directly? |
