Hi... I'm a beginner in Ansys... and i can not generate a mesh in a very simple geometry (open channel). I have tried a about a 3 days to generate but it doesn't happen...

Some of the error are

One or more entities failed to mesh. The mesh of the bodies containing these entities may not be up-to-date. However, meshing might be successful on the other entities.

The surface mesh is intersecting or close to intersecting, making it difficult to create a volume mesh. Please adjust the mesh size or adjust the geometry to fix the problem.

The mesh generation did not complete due to poor quality elements or incorrect input. Please try meshing with another mesh method or different mesh options.

I really don´t know how to fix it... pleas help me :/

P.d... I apologize for grammatical errors, I speack spanish and i don´t know how wrong i wrote this...

Hi Leonard,

Welcome to CFD Online.
I suggest you to go thru some basic example first which are available in HELP section.
Learn what are the entities they are using and try to follow each step to get mesh.
Try to read about it as well.
