Hello,
I have been facing Maximum Edge Length ratio error with my model. The photo is provided. My question to the workflow process is how to minimise this source. Do I give the node distribution using other research papers which had a similar mesh for the model? Or work with the Control Points and using Sticky ones to change the error in a Coarse Mesh and later increase the element size using Specify Mesh size? I know how to reduce other types of errors by moving control points but it just doesnt work for me with the Edge length Ratio. So far i have specified Absolute wall spacing to get Y+=1 for an SST model. The results I received from a previous mesh which I used gave me a y+ of 7.4 in CFD Post, however I had used the Normalized Option and let the spacing be automatic ,and reduce the errors with moving control points of the inlet and outlet domain. It too was eventually 1.2 million cells. |
