Dear Friends,
I am modifying the compressor blade to study passive flow control. For that i made a slot in blade at inclination and upto 50% span. I used conventional Tool Turbogrid for Innitial computational study where i inputted hub, shroud and blade. crv files to generate the flow domain for meshing. Now for study of slotted blade i used Modelling software and cut the blade upto 50% span as shown. I am facing problems like 1. How to insert Slotted blade in Turbgrid? a) I used approach of calculating the co-ordinates along the span but is showing zigzag profile so unable to generate the blade. b) I have calculated the coordinates by dividing the blade in two halves and remaining blade portion inserted to blades but still it gives zigzag blade co-ordinates. C) I have calculated the coordinates by dividing the blade in two halves and inserted to blades but still it gives zigzag blade co-ordinates. I am feeling i am committing small mistake somewhere for the process and that's why unable to resolve the problem, You are requested to guide me for the same. IF OTHER ALTERNATIVE OR REFERENCE TUTORIAL AVAILABLE WITH YOU THAN PLEASE DO POST. The figures are attached for reference. |
