Hi,
first off, I'm rather new to CFD. I try to create a 3D mesh in the Ansys Mesher (not ICEM) for a small racing car but there are a few parts that always crash my mesh (meaning it doesn't even finish meshing but aborts and shows error messages). One of those parts is the wings. I use the well known high lift wing S1223 in various multi-element airfoils configurations. It seems like the rear end of those wings, which is very sharp, is not meshable with my mesh configurations. Any idea which option i can change to make my mesh successful? I tried to adjust the curvature normal angle and the element size but it didn't pay off so far. I am using tetrahedrons, should I maybe change my mesh geometry? |

Problem is solved. Geometry was faulty.
