Hi all,
I have a problem with a part of my geometry that is imported from CAD. I cutted the geometry in different bodies, one of them looks like a cylinder. For some reason, meshing doesn't recognize it as "sweepable", but that doesn't matter here, although this is suspicious and might be a hint to the solution. Anyway, the surface mesh of that body looks horrible and I have no idea how to get it better. Here, have a look. bad_mesh_1.png bad_mesh_2.png Do you have any idea what could be the reason for this? This is "patch conforming", but I need it because I want to use pre-inflation. If I set it t "patch independent" the mesh looks fine. I do not need to get it sweepable, because I want to have different edge resolutions on both sides.

Ok, if I switch off "advanced sizing function" the mesh looks fine. But I need it at other parts...
Any other setting (on: fixed, on:curvature,...) leads to the bad mesh.
