Hello guys,
I'm new on ANSYS and I'm trying to simulate the flow in a burner. I'm working on a 2D geometry and to compute the solution I need two different domains: the volute and the impeller. I don't import the geometry from any CAD programs so I'm trying to build it in the Design Modeler. However I have the following problem: the program seems to connect the boundary of the volute and the impeller when I build them. To clarify my problem I posted 2 pics. In picture number 1 there is the volute without the impeller. In picture number 2 there are the volute and the blades of the impeller. However the volute and the impeller are merged in a singular domain, while I need 2 separated domains. Can anyone help me, please? Thanks in advance, Andrea. |
