Hi everybody, this is my first post in this forum. I am trying to simulate a problem in which I encounter walls in the fluid domain. I have created planar surfaces in the fluid domain. While doing unstructured mesh there is a option available in part mesh setup where I can select the surfaces present inside the domain as interior wall. Upon selecting them as interior wall solver is considering that as wall. If not selected, solver will not at all consider the wall surface. My problem is during structured mesh generation that option doesn't work as it is applicable only for tetrahedral meshing and octree mesh method. Is there any option available to consider the surface as interior wall during structured meshing ? Please let me know the various possibilities I can work on so that solver considers the planar surface as wall. Hope I get the suggestions. Similar to my problem, I have put a hollow surface inside the domain, I have attached some screen shots, you can see the boundary conditions in fluent where wall is not at all recognised. And also in mesh display wall is not displayed.
Thank You.

youre just better off using ansys meshing and making a tet mesh than wasting effort making a structured mesh in ICEM
