Hello i am trying to simulate server rack in data center, and i made 3D model with solidworks 2013. After converting solidworks file into IGES format, imported IGES into Geometry at ANSYS Workbench 15.0.
After that, i made named selection to inlet, outlet and heat source area. In here, i am having trouble with 1. Making heat source area I need to make a source terms from cell zone condition in fluent, but i am wandering to make this zone for a week... Second attached .jpg file is my heat source area. From the rectangular shape of server, i cut out location of server and wish to set there as heat source. 2. Monitoring Mass flow rate How and where can I insert or select a surface that can calculate mass flow rate through? If it is too arrogant, then please let me know where can I find related information... (Additional)3. Specifying proper model I have look on other papers about CFD in data center, and i just recognized some recommendation about model selection without explanation. Will it be proper to my case, too?Thank you for your reading, and please help me if you can afford. Have a good day! Last edited by econ; October 25, 2015 at 10:43. |
