Hello all, I import external geometry file (from Inventor, step. file), but it shows 86 parts and bodies. Is that a problem for the analysis? Do I need to import as a single solid body? Because however hard I try, I can not convert the file into single body file in Ansys

Ok, if you dont want any headache use plug-ins, for example, In Inventor there is ANsys 16 plug-in, I did not use that but instead tried to export some file format and then use it, but it seems that best form is to use plug-ins which is far better than the converting and also less problems
