Hello dear community,
I got a Problem with ICEM as I am trying to use a y-grid because of a triangular shaped block that i need to mesh. Pictures: http://imgur.com/a/pCaNr At first I created a 3d bounding block and merged the lower Vertices. After that i split up the block into the parts that i need and deleted one of the lower triangular parts like you can see on the picture. But after I edited the lower block to a y-grid the whole associations are messed up. That causes big problems with the mesh. Can someone explain how to fix that? Deleting these associations doesn't help. Thanks |

Short update by myself to help other users who face the same problem.
I talked to the supervisor of the university and he told me that i can split up the whole geometry into two parts. Later on I can import two meshes in the solver and select an interface where I split the mesh up. So in the solver it gets reconnected again. |
