Hey everyone,
I have a small cube (see attached) that represents a porous block. I have meshed the block and made various named selections, etc. After looking at the solutions, I have decided I want to add another (at least one) identical block next to the original one. My question is this: Is there a way to copy the existing block (mesh included) and translate it, in order to give me two identical blocks side by side? I have heard that FE Modeler can be used to achieve this, but I'm not exactly sure how. I have tried going back the original geometry and simply copying an additional block next to the original one, but when I go to mesh it, it gives me errors now (despite using the exact same mesh as with the single block). Also, opposing faces of the block are periodic with oneanother so, when multiple blocks are added, they should match up perfectly with eachother. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Alex |
