Hello.
I have a lot of problems in creation good mesh for my geometries. I had been watching a lot of tutorials and had tried a lot of combination of mesh methods but when I was checking it in Fluent and it was not efficient enough. My best mesh had 0,3 <0,1> so it was not good for my calculation and that is why I have 2 question: 1. What kind of elements, methods I should do for meshing separately fluid inside and geometry of pipe ? 2. I had 1 question also about my CP. I had processor 2,4 and memory 8gb and sometimes when I pressed generate mesh and it was a lot of elements of mesh then this small windows which is opening when we are creating the mesh is frozen for very long time and I don't know if it is still working. How long mesh can be creating ? I'll appreciate any help. I need some clues what should I do to make my calculation precisely. I enclose images of my geometries and their approximate demansions. |

Have you used a boolean operation to take out the inner surfaces from your fluid body? tets and hex would both be fine, just dont forget appropriate inflation layer

Hi Paul,
maybe, spending some time with ICEM you can achieve better quality |
