Hello everyone,
I am trying to create a mesh to analyze the flow around a wind turbine blade. The total span of the blade is more or less 48.5 m, thus I need a hub radius of approximately 1.5m (enough for having all the 3 blades mounted on the hub) and a shroud radius of 50 m. No matter what I try to do, I always get the following error while creating my geometry: "The hub radius at the inlet of the blade passage is too small. Try moving the blade passage inlet closer to the blade." Of course it doesn't make any difference where I move the inlet of my domain, as the hub is just a simple cylinder, with constant radius. Did anyone experience a problem like this? Any idea about the causes of that? What can I do to solve it? Thanks in advance |
