Hi all,
Im using in Ansys Workbench the Transient-Structural system. In the DesignModeler I create a Surface-Body (surface from sketches) and a normal Solid-Body (extrude a sketch). I connected this 2 bodies to 1 single Part. The Problem now is the geometry import to the Structure- Mechanical. It doesn't work to import a Surface-Body and a normal Solid-Body in 1 single Part. Structural- Mechanical imports only the normal Solid-Body and ignores the Surface-Body, without producing any warnings. I need to have this to bodies in 1 single Part to create a mesh with node matching. Does anybode know what the problem is? Is it not possible to import a Surface-Body and a normal Solid-Body in 1 single Part? Or have somebody another method to produce a mesh with node matching of 2 bodies? Thanks a lot! Martin |
