you should define a "thin cut" with the pressure and the suction side of the airfoil.
In order to the thin cut to work you also need to keep the trailing edge curve in a separate part |

After setting the edge paremeter from 0.2 to 0.01 to 0.001 im still facing those holes and getting even more error messages.
I tried to fix it with the thin cuts approach but somehow this approach couldnt fix the holes aswell. Im wondering if its possible to mesh everything with octree meshing, then delete the volume and after that i remesh the fan with tri elements and after that i would mesh the volume with delauny method. Will this fix my problem? And if i switch the surface meshing of the fan from tri to quad elements then my quality looks like this. will this be a problem in cfx? |
