Sorry if this has been answered before, but I tried googling with no success. I am making a 2D model and I need to have different faces in order to set different mesh parameters in different areas.
I drew one main sketch and added two sketches on top where I wanted, added the two extras as frozen and used boolean subtract to remove the excess part from the main surface. My problem arises when I use subtract on a curved surface, I end up with two lines instead of a shared. I also tried to use connect, but with no success. Can anybody help me out? |

Solved!
Just had to make a sketch for each individual part (by copying lines from the other sketches so that they would match up perfectly). Then make surface from sketch, add all sketches as geometry, choose add frozen. After making the surfaces I used boolean-subtract to make individual bodies without overlapping. |
