Hi,
I'm currently working on a work project and I'm stuck with an issue. I'm trying to merge two seperate meshes which are in 3D and I keep getting pyramids at the interface. The nodes at the interface are similar and are hexa, so I didn't expect to see any pyramids. I've attached a simple example to this message. I've meshes two similar cubes and tried to merge them, but the pyramids can be seen in the pictures. Can anyone please let me know how to obtain just hexa meshing and I've very deperate as the deadline for project I'm working on is fastly approaching. cube1.jpg cube2.jpg mergedcube.jpg Thanks Ali |

Hi,
Merging meshes is a hassle compared to blocking a geometry and controlling the mesh size in all blocks. |
