high aspect ratio

hello everyone
i want to simulate compressible flow in a 3D channel i use Ansys15.0 workbench meshing but when i generate the mesh i see the aspect ratio is very high. how can i find that cells which have high aspect ratio? |

Shouldnt really have high aspect ratio cells with a simple geometry, still in ansys meshing you can scroll down in the left tool bar, go to statistics and change the quality criteria to whatever you want, then in the mesh metrics table that appears you can click on the low quality bar to see where those cells are.
you can also repair/improve the mesh in Fluent itself using TUI commands. look them up in the manuals. |
