I have a simple 2D mesh whose geometry file is corrupted. I need to write an UDF and need the dimensions. How do i extract the geometry details from the mesh.
Thanks in advance |

In icem cfd :
1. Import that mesh File > Import Mesh > From fluent 2. Edit > Mesh to facets ( do not merge close nodes, for other options click yes or ok) thats all. You can also export that geometry as parasolid or IGES You can also recover geometry FE modeler. May be you can also do it in designmodeler but i haven't done it in DM so you need to try ... |
