Hi,
Iīm trying to do an hexa mesh with ICEM for a compressor blade. In order to do that, I splitted blocks and I used an O-grid block in the center. As I got the premesh, there were problems with the it in some blocks. I donīt understand them because everytime I try to do it the problem comes in a different block. The block that was wrong last time is now right and so on. Eventually I managed to do it right (image attached "correct"), but now when I change something (smooth, refinement, move vertex) this problem appears again (images "error 1 and 2"). Does anyone of you know what might cause this problem and how to solve it? I donīt know if itīs a geometry problem or a problem doing the blocking with ICEM. Correct.jpg Error1.jpg Error2.jpg Thank you for your attention. |

Nope. I just tried several times building all up until I finally got the right mesh. Still I can't tell why it went right that time.
Any suggestions where this problem comes from? |
