Hey everyone

I hope you are having a good day. I am modelling 2d external compressible flow past a wing in a pressure far field but the solver keeps diverging. The meshing strategy I'm using is 2 stage unstructured C-grid taken from the ANSYS inc youtube page. After assigning mesh sizes I have approximately 2.3 million nodes and the following mesh quality metrics:

-minimum orthogonal quality:0.831584
-minimum skew quality:0.62563
-minimum aspect ratio quality: 0.005 (about a quarter of the nodes) with the majority being about 0.5-0.6

I started trying to equalize the aspect ratio but I have found that this has negative impacts on the other quality metrics. And anything I do seems to not have a big impact on the aspect ratio quality. Is there any functions in ICEM that would me solve this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated and I will upload any photos requested, I would do it now but I don't what photos would be helpful if any.

Thanks
Nick

If you click the bar ICEM will display where those cells are.

So if you have cells with aspect ratio quality of 0.005 then click the bar of 0.005 and you will see why the cell aspect ratio is so bad. You can give us that screenshot.
