i have created a good quality (>0.3) 2d mesh over an airfoil in icem by making use of curve and surface controls
then i saved it as .msh file and opened it in CFX keeping the 'advanced options' on extruded it 1mm along the cell thickness direction given the BC's and then run the CFX solver ...but what i found in that it fails to start showing "floating point excpetion/ zero division" error then second time i enabled the "double precision" option in the solution manager and found that the solution is running fine my question is : what are the causes of such a error and how to prevent it ? (i had just enabled "double precision" as a hit and trial approach ) |

Hi Far,
i have attached my pictures did you see it ?, i could mesh it by blocks but the geomety is very complex when i open it after converting by fluent solver in icem, fluent can open the mesh file but it said there are many problems in your mesh file, could you please help me. can i send you the tetin files to see where the problem is |
