I have just started working on Ansys, and need to perform a simple translation motion. In the attached geometry, my requirement is that the piston moves from the point A to point B, accelerating uniformly till the mid point and then de-accelarating to zero velocity when it reaches point B. Can anyone help me regarding the procedure on how to do it, or give a clue on how to start??
P.S. : I read in the forums that a moving mesh is required to perform this translation motion. But i dont know how to begin with it or even if it is right or wrong. |
