Hello everybody
I need to create a hybrid mesh in ICEM...the model is 3D airfoil with synthetic jet actuator... The inner material part is indeed to the jet chamber and is completely inside the outer domain part which includes the airfoil. For my case, the inner part will be Tetra/Quad and the outer one will be meshed by blocking. To do this 1- I named different parts like airfoil, inlet, outlet, etc. 2- I created two material parts. One for the jet chamber part (IN) and one for the domain around the blade (OUT). 3- Before meshing the IN part for the jet chamber, I deactivated the the OUT part. Then I set the surface and curve properties by using the global and local mesh size under the MESH tab. 4- However, after creating the automatic mesh for the jet chamber (IN), I realized that the auto Tetra mesh is not only inside the IN part and the OUT part is also meshed. COULD ANYONE TELL ME THE REASON??? AND HOW TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM Thanks aaa.jpg |
