Hello Everyone,
to make things simple I have to simulate the flow field in a duct. Because of symmetry reasons I am simulating just half of the geometry. My problem is that I can't find much documentation about 2D unstructured mesh with ICEM. Basically I would like to proceed like may people say that is setting up 2D mesh parameters and adjust the boundary layer with curve mesh set up. I understand the meaning of the parameters on mesh set up but I don't understand how should I proceed. I mean I set the Global Mesh Parameters as All Tri, tha maximumi dimensio etc etc..then I went on Curve Mesh Setup and i selected the options that I needed. The problem is that the mesh that ICEM produces seems not considering this last part and I am getting an All Tri mesh everywere. I would like someone to explain me the exact procedure that I have to follow, I know that this approach is more FEA side but I need to proceed in this way. Thank you in advance. |
