Hello guys.
I wonder if it is possible to set element shape functions in Ansys Meshing. In a default setup it produces meshes with first order element shape functions, so tetras have 4 nodes, hexas 8 nodes, etc. Can one set this to second order? |

Does the Element Midside Node option in Meshing deal with that? The options are program controlled, dropped or kept. Check out the Meshing User Guide > Global Mesh Controls > Advanced Group > Element Midside Nodes.

Yep, that's it. Thanks.
Do you know maybe if it's possible to activate this option with "assembly meshing"? After activating assembly meshing, drop-down menu of "advanced" simply disappears. |
