How did you associate to the hemisphere surface, I have managed to mesh a full sphere by using associate face to surface however this does not work with the hemisphere?

first associate the edge tu curves on ground.
Then hide the all other surface except sphere. Use index blocking and only choose the block surrounding the sphere. Change material of the block inside sphere to solid or delete it(you have just made it visible in last step using index blocking) Go to association panel again and snap vertices. you can move vertices on the sphere surface if you want to optimize the mesh. To create ogrid around sphere select the block inside sphere (solid) and select option around and also select face on the ground. |
