Hi there,
I'm simply trying to generate a solid volume starting from a cad file. It's a radial blade. When I import the cad file in Blademodeler there are 3 faces while hub and tip surfaces are missing. I generate those and check that the normal to the faces are correct. I'd like to create a solid volume by uniting the 5 surfaces using Boolean. What I obtain however is one solid body with a certain surface but zero volume.. is Boolean the wrong tool in this case? or should I ask to modify the CAD file in order to generate a volume body? Thanks |
