which mesh generator software is better for cfd, Gambit, Icem_CFD or another?

it depends on application and your expertise.

Just to give you an example : making hybrid mesh is very much easy in gambit or gridgen, but not easy in ICEM CFD. On the other hand handling very large models in ICEM CFD or TGRID (fluent meshing) is day to day businnes while not possible at all in Gambit.

Dealing with turbomachinery model is very much easy in turbogrid, but you cannot mesh the models whose template is not available in TG e.g. wind turbine...

Any software which has more optios/methods/algorithms and user control have the steep learning curve e.g. ICEM CFD and specially hexa module.
