Hi all,
I am learning to mesh with ICEM from the basics, a 3D cylindrical straight-tube with a single inlet and single outlet. I managed to get a decent hexa-core mesh with prism layers along the wall. However, I found that parts of the surface mesh on the inlet and outlet has been replaced by the volume mesh and is no longer recognized as an inlet/outlet in Fluent. Could someone enlighten me on this. Is there something that I have missed out on? Alternatively, are there any tutorials related to pipe flow. Thank you. |

Hi, thanks for the reply. I've attached some screenshots. I'm also reading your book and it is definitely a good platform to start learning ICEM. Thank you so much for the effort. |
