Dear Friends
I am meshing a geometry in ICEM. I noticed that my geometry is in Meter (since when i export it to CFX one Unit ICEM is one meter). I am actually following a protocol for my meshing. On that protocol it is stated that Max Element should be set on 0.0004! Setting Max Element on this value and computing mesh, I see that mesh reaches 5,000,000 tetrahedra and then OUT OF MEMORY! Of course, it seems that I need to use a more powerful computer, but I think there is a problem somewhere else. Maybe in Unit of ICEM as it is stated on the protocol that these are settings for a geometry expressed in m! My Geometry is a blood vessel with max length of 10 cm and minimum length of 0.2-0.5 cm. I feel having a mesh of 5,000,000 tetrahedra is odd so I think the problem is somewhere else not the power of the machine. Would you please advise on this? Cheers |
