Hi all!
I'm having some problems getting a boundary layer in a conjugate heat transfer problem. I have 3 surfaces fluid_cold, fluid_hot and solid. I don't know how to create a boundary layer just for the fluid. 1- I created 1 part for each surface 2- I set the mesh parameters in the "part mesh setup" menu 2a - For both fluid domaines I checked "prism" 3- I computed the surface mesh 4- Icem generates a boundary layer on both sides of the line that separates the fluid from the solid Any suggestions? My geometry consists of 3 rectangles as follows: -------------------------------- |······· FLUID_COLD············| -------------------------------- |·········· SOLID··················| --------------------------------- |·········FLUID_HOT ············| -------------------------------- |

Please share the geometry in .tin format. It will be easy to work on with.

Hey, did you get the solution to your problem. I am also trying to solve a similar type of problem...?
