I've been trying to mesh a Multi Element Airfoil in ICEM for two days now. First I tried blocking but that became very very dodgy.

Next I tried the Meshing Tab. I have about 90% of the mesh done but have one problem. The trailing edge is not treated very well. All cells are completely perpendicular to the boundary and this causes trailing edge problems.

Any suggestions?

I've tried that. The problem is the edges don't 'fan out' like they do when using blocks.

are you using patch dependent algorithm? Turn on respect line elements option...

I am using patch dependent.

I've tried turning on respect line elements. The option makes no visible differences to the mesh.

Is there maybe a problem that the main body of the airfoil and the trailing edge are physically separate curves?
