tpar123 is on a distinguished road
Hello!

I'm trying to model a simple cylindrical container filled with water which experiences a bullet impact (The water completely fills the can, with no air pockets). I will be using an explicit dynamics project (AUTODYN) to run the simulation.

I've completed the model in DesignModeler, and am trying to mesh the enclosed fluid in Ansys mechanical. How do I go about this? I could not find clear tutorials on generating Eulerian fluid meshes within Mechanical; most of the tutorials focus on using CFX/Fluent instead of AUTODYN as the end solver.

I've used a Shock Linear EOS for the water, and the can material is Aluminium.

Thanks in advance!
