Hello everyone,
I have a problem with my geometry. In fact I'm a new user of Ansys. I usually use Abaqus but I'm doing an internship so... I created an assembly with CREO and I would like to import it into Ansys. I tried the format step and iges. Both put some "?" next to a part in the geometry. I read that means that some data are wrong or missing. In fact the name of a part appears three times and I don't really understand why. When I import the single part, everything works fine. It's only a problem with the assembly. I tried to import the .asm file and to create a x_t file but with both of them, I had the error that it couldn't attach the geometry. I read that there are some changes to do in the CAD configuration manager but I don't have access since I don't have the administrator rights. I'm using the workbench 14.5. Thanks for helping me! PS : When I show the error, it says : Invalid "Volume". Is there a manner to heal the part? Last edited by Memboro; July 26, 2013 at 06:35. |
