Hi experts ,

I started Hexa meshing of wind turbine blade with guide of this tutorial (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mgjRT4WY_iA) But the mesh didn't complete at the trialing edge (sharp) along blade and root.... (please run pre-mesh of the ICEM attachment)

http://www.4shared.com/rar/V5i-3Ckx/Geo.html

I need to know:
1- what is the problem (i think it is Associations problem but i checked it )
2- How i mesh the Hub (last part of the blade)

Thanks in advance.

Hi m5edr;

the problem i see in blocking is due to misplacement of blocking edges and vertices. Although ICEM is tolerant of this issue, i.e, does not require that edges be 100% aligned with curves, but the distance is beyond its capability to handle. Otherwise your blocking is good.

For Hub region, you need quarter o-grid.
